Program No.1 Comprehensive Egypt

 

CAI/ASW/LXR/HRG (Sleeper Train)

 

 

Day 01: Arrive Cairo airport. Meet and Assist. Dinner. Transfer to the hotel for overnight.

 

Day 02: Full day tour in Cairo including one of the World's seven wonders represented in the great pyramids and Sphinx. Continue visiting the most comprehensive ancient Egyptian site represented in the Egyptian museum. Overnight in Cairo.

 

Day 03: Enjoy a half day tour highlighting Coptic Cairo. The tour includes old Cairo churches such as St. Sergio, the hanging church and Ben Ezra synagogue. Then, proceed to visit the citadel. In the afternoon, transfer to the sleeper train to Aswan. 

 

Day 04: Arrive Aswan in the morning. Visit the High Dam, the Unfinished
Obelisk and Philae temple. In the afternoon, enjoy a Felucca sail to the botanical gardens or view of Agha Khan Mausoleum. Overnight at Aswan.

 

Day 05: Free at Leisure. (Optional Abu Simbel to visit Abu Simbel temple and back to Aswan) Overnight in Aswan.

 

Day 06: Aswan / Kom Ombo / Edfu/ Luxor.  Drive to Kom Ombu. Visit the temple shared by two Gods Sobek & Haroeris. Drive to Edfu. Visit the temple of Horus and on to Luxor for overnight.

 

Day 07: Enjoy a full day in Luxor including Luxor and Karnak Temples. Overnight in Luxor.

Day 08: Drive to Hurghada (approx 3hours). Enjoy the rest of the day at the Red sea shores. Overnight in Hurghada.

 

Day 09:  The day is at Leisure. It could be a good spot for snorkeling and diving. Overnight in Hurghada.

 

Day 10: Drive to Cairo. The rest of the day could be devoted for shopping souvenirs to the family and friends. Overnight in Cairo.

 

Day 11: Transfer to Cairo airport for departure. 

 

The program includes:

Day 06: Continue with Luxor's highlights and on to Cross the West Bank to visit Thebes Necropolis, Valley of the Kings, El Deir El Bahari of Hatshepsut and Colossi of Memnon facing the Nile. Transfer to the sleeper train and back to Cairo.

 

Day 07: Arrive Cairo in the morning. Transfer to the hotel for rest. In the evening optional Sound & Light or a 2 hour sailing Nile cruise with oriental show. Overnight in Cairo.

 

Day 08: Departure through Cairo airport.

Program No.3  A little Bit of Sea, Christian History and WWII Remains.  

 

CAI/ALX/Red Sea/St. Macarius Monastery/EL Alamin

 

 

Day 1: Arrive Cairo airport. Meet and Assist. Dinner. Transfer to the hotel for overnight.

 

Day 02: Full day tour in Cairo including one of the World's seven wonders represented in the great pyramids and Sphinx. Continue visiting the most comprehensive ancient Egyptian site represented in the Egyptian museum. Overnight in Cairo.

 

Day 03: Drive to the Red Sea (Ain Sokhna Or Ras Sudr). Enjoy the day at the Red Sea Shores.  It could be a good chance for a tan and a swim and perhaps snorkeling.  Overnight.

 

Day 04: Continue to spend the day at the Red Sea. Then, drive back to Cairo for overnight.

 

Day 05: Enjoy a short drive to St. Macarius monastery. View all the ancient icons and on to Alexandria for overnight. 

 

Day 06:  Proceed to visit the new biblioteca, the Greco Roman Catacomb, Pompey's pillar (Kom El Shokafa), and the former king's residence represented in the Montazah palace. Overnight in Alexandria.

 

Day 07: Visit El Alamin where the cemeteries of the Italian, British and German were located during World War II and on to visit the War Museum. Drive back to Cairo. Overnight in Cairo.

 

Day 08: Departure.
